Safetytoons is a 2 person company doing big things in safety! We started creating safety artwork as a volunteer project for an aerospace company where Gary was working. Their Safety Engineer had seen Gary's cartoons and asked for help with the new safety awareness program. He was disappointed with the material available, and looking for quality. That was in 1995 and we still draw a toon for that Fortune 500 company every month. We continually had inquiry's from their suppliers and customers about our safety cartoons. Safetytoons was born out of the need for 'quality' safety artwork. Gary's experience in manufacturing gives us a unique opportunity to understand safety as it applies to the workplace. Carla's background in teaching gives us the perspective on how to both reach and teach your employees. Our service is different, we actually encourage many uses of our safety cartoons. When you order a Safetytoon we give your company a 90 day 'right to make copies' so our cartoons can be placed in your newsletters, used in presentations, & meetings, and as posters. This repetition improves the impact of your safety message. Our safety cartoons actually teach a safety lesson. They were each custom drawn for a safety professional at some company. We don't offer generic safetytoons because each of our toons had a specific purpose when created. A safety professional approved every drawing and word of text. Generic safety is all they can offer because they have no idea why those Kevlar sleeves are used. Most are cartoonists with a safety sideline.
